Suji custard halwa

 INGREDIENTS AND PREPARATIONS

Sugar ½ cup

Water 1 cup

Cook until sugar dissolves, turn off the flame.

Mix 1 tbsp custard pdr in ¼ cup of water well

Pout into the sugar syrup, cook for a minute stirring well

Keep it aside covered

In a pan, roast 1 cup rava in low flame

Add 1 tbsp ghee, mix well, roast well, once it is absorbed, add the 2nd tbsp ghee, fry well

Then add the 3rd tbsp ghee fry well, continue to roast for another 3-5 minutes

Add the sugar syrup, mix well, add few drops of kesar pdr, mix well

Keep stirring till the mixture comes together leaving the sides of the pan

Spread it on a greased plate, sprinkle some nuts on top, press it down

Keep aside for an hour then cut into pieces
