Besan barfi with milk powder

 INGREDIENTS AND PREPARATIONS

Heat 1 cup ghee

Add 2 cups besan

Keep stirring continuously, slowly you’ll find the mixture that was thick, now becomes watery

Now add 1 cup milk pdr, keep frying well, remove once it becomes thick

Heat 1 ¼ cups/ 300 ml water, add sugar ¾ cup/ 150 gm

Keep stirring, once it becomes 1 string syrup, pour little at a time over besan mixture, keep stirring

Once the syrup is absorbed, add more syrup and keep stirring, add cardamom pdr ½ tsp

Keep stirring till the mixture comes together as a mass and leaves the sides of the pan

Pour the mixture in a greased pan/ plate, spread nuts on top, slowly press it down

Let it set for 3-4 hours, once set cut into pieces as desired
