INGREDIENTS
besan 1 cup
coriander leaves chopped 2 cups
turmeric pdr 1/2 tsp
salt to taste
ajwain 1/2 tsp
ginger-garlic paste 1 tbsp
green chilies finely chopped to taste
water to make batter
oil for shallow fry
PREPARATIONS
in a bowl add besan and rest of the ingredients , mix well, then add water and make a thick batter, somewhat like cake batter. Pour it in a greased plate or dish and steam for 15 minutes in medium flame.
Once done, remove, cool, cut into desired shape. In a pan, heat oil, put the cut pieces to shallow fry till brown on both sides. Serve as a tea time snack along with chutney of your choice.
