Baked Methi matri

 INGREDIENTS

multigrain flour 1 cup

besan 1/4 cup

ajwain / carom seeds 1/2 tsp

butter / ghee 2 tbsp

salt to taste

methi leaves chopped fine 1/4 cup

water to make dough

 

METHOD

 in a bowl, mix the flours, salt, ajwain, methi leaves well, add ghee/ butter, mix well till it resembles bread crumbs , then add water to make a soft dough. Cover and keep the dough for 10 minutes.

take small lime size amount of dough, roll it well, flatten little and place it in a greased baking tray.

bake in a preheated oven @ 180 deg C for 12-15 minutes till golden brown.

remove, cool and store.
