Purple yam/ kand spicy puri

 INGREDIENTS

amarantha/ raj gira atta  1 cup

mashed yam  1 cup

salt to taste

ajwain 1 tsp

green chili paste 1 tsp

ginger paste 1 tsp

chili pdr little

ghee 2 tbsp

sesame seeds 1 tbsp

oil for frying

 

METHOD

mix flour,ghee, salt well till it resembles breadcrumbs

then add ajwain, green chili and ginger paste, sesame seeds,  chili pdr to a semi-soft dough

grease your palms with oil/ ghee, take some dough roll it well, then flatten with your palms and deep fry in medium hot oil till golden. It won't take long to cook. Drain and serve hot if need be with chutney of your choice.
