Paniyarams


Paniyarams

Black gram dal ½ cup
Rice 2 tbsp
Jaggery/ gur 200 gm
Coconut grated 1
Cardamoms 6 powdered
Saffron strands few

Method
1)      grind grated coconut & extract thick milk.
2)      Wash & soak dal & rice together for about 2 hours.
3)      Drain & grind to a very fine mass with jaggery.
4)      In a poaching pan, heat oil/ ghee, drop spoonful of the batter & fry to a golden brown.
5)      Drain & drop into coconut milk.
6)      Sprinkle with cardamom pdr & saffron strands.
7)      Serve after 30 minutes.
