Semia ‘vatral’/ vadam/ chips

Rice 1 kg

Sabudana 1 glass
Limes 3
Salt to taste.

Powder rice & sabudana in a mixie or in a mill. Sieve the flour, add salt, lime juice, water & make dough like for ‘ thengulal’. Put the dough in sev/ omapodi press, then in a clean thick plastic sheet, press in it in small rounds. Keep this in the sun to dry well for 3-4 days. Then store in air-tight container, fry in hot oil like for chips.
