Buttermilk semolina upma

Semolina 500 gm
Buttermilk ¼ l
Onion 2
Chilies 5-7
Mustard seeds ½ tsp
Udad dal 1 tsp
Chana dal 2 tsp
Curry leaves
Oil 3-4 tbsp


Method
Mix semolina, buttermilk, salt with little water & keep aside.
In a heavy pan, heat oil, add mustard seeds, then dal, once the dals turn golden, add onion, chilies, fry well. Then add the semolina mixture & keep stirring till done. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves. Serve it hot with coconut/ tomato/ onion chutney.

Ps- it is a good breakfast/ snack item.
