Erisherry

pumpkin slightly sweet 1 small cubed
red gram 3/4 cup soaked overnight
salt
 To grind
coconut grated 1cup
green chilies 2
cumin seeds 1/2 tsp

coconut scarping to roast 2 tbsp


for tempering
mustard seeds 1 tsp
red chilies 2
curry leaves
coconut oil 1 tsp


method
boil the pumpkin & red gram for 10 minutes in a pressure cooker or in a pan till cooked with turmeric pdr, red chili pdr. Once cooked, add salt.
grind coconut, cumin & green chilies to a smooth paste, add to the cooked vegetables & dal, stir well.
in a wok, heat oil, add  mustard seeds, when it crackles, add curry leaves & dried red chilies, add the coocnut scraping  fry well.
add to the cooked vegetables, stir well, serve hot with rice.
