Dum ghobi (
cauliflower)
Cauliflower 1 big
Tomatoes 6
Onion 6
Carrot 1
Peas 1 cup
Cinnamon 1 small piece
Cardamom 4
Curd 1 cup
Turmeric pdr 1 tsp
Kesar pdr 1 tsp
Coriander pdr 1 tsp
Garam masala ½ tsp
Green chilies 2
Ginger 1”
Salt to taste
Oil to fry
To decorate, onions & tomatoes cut into circles.
Method
Wash the cauliflower well. Cut leaves & downs tem.
Cut carrots, onion & tomatoes into fine bits.
Grind together ½ the onion, turmeric, chilies, chili pdr,
ginger, garam masala.
Apply salt to cauliflower, steam cook till it is half done.
Heat oil, add cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, onion & fry
till golden.
Then add peas, carrot, tomatoes & ground masala &
fry.
Then add salt, cauliflower, with little water, cover &
cook till the vegetables are well done.
