German almond cake


German almond cake

Topping
Butter 50 gm                                                     sugar 100 gm                        
almonds chopped 2-3 tbsp                         Vanilla essence 1 tsp

sponge
butter 50 gm                                           sugar 50 gm                                       eggs 2
baking pdr 1 ½ tsp                                flour 150 gm                                       milk 1-2 tbsp

first make topping & keep aside.
Melt butter & mix 100 gm sugar in it.
when blended, add almonds & a tbsp of milk, so that the mixture is of spreading consistency.

for the sponge
cream 50 gm butter & add sugar, then the eggs one at a time beating well.
sift flr & baking pdr & slowly add to the mixture.
grease a pan, line it with dough, spread the topping all over evenly.
bake in a moderate hot oven till done.
