Ingredients:
- dry ginger powder – 2 tbsp
- green cardamom – 2 tbsp
- cinnamon sticks – 6-8 sticks, about 2 inch
- cloves – 1 tbsp
- nutmeg – 1/2, grated
- fennel seeds – 1 tbsp
- pepper corns – 2 tsp ( optional)
Recipe – First, you need to dry roast certain spices for few minutes until it is well toasted and aromatic – cinnamon, cloves, pepper, nutmeg grated, fennel seeds and cardamom. Add the roasted spices to a grinder and grind it until fine. Add ginger powder to it and mix well. Sieve the prepared powder to remove any granules and particles. Cool and store in an air-tight container. To use, add 1/4 teaspoon or more of the spice mix to 2 cups of tea and let it simmer. Add milk and filter. Enjoy hot!
