Soya-matar burji

INGREDIENTS and METHOD

soya granules  1 cup, wash and  Boil in hot water well, drain well after washing 2-3 times, squeeze out the excess water. and keep it aside

matar / green peas 1/2 cup 

oil  2 tbsp

onion 2 medium finely chopped, fry

once light brown, ginger-garlic paste  1 tbsp, fry well

medium tomatoes 2 finely chopped, mix well adding salt, mash 

green chili 1 finely chopped

red chili pdr  1/2 tsp

dhania/ coriander pdr 1 tsp

turmeric pdr  1/2 tsp

once tomatoes are well cooked, add peas, mix well, water 1/2 cup mix well 

cook on low flame, covered for 5-6 minutes, turning in between

once cooked, add the cooked and squeezed spay granules

cook on low flame for 5-6 minutes, mix well, adding garam masala 1/2 tsp

cook and cover for 5 more minutes, check if cooked, add coriander leaves, mix well

serve the burji hot with roti/ bread toast., OR eat plain as a snack !
