INGREDIENTS
soya granules 1 1/2 cup
besan 2 tbsp
green chilies 2-3 as per taste
ginger 1 tbsp
garlic 5-7 pods
onion 1 finely chopped
coriander leaves 2 tbsp
lime juice 2 tsp
chana dal 1/2 cup wash and soak for 1-2 hours
salt to taste
garam masala 1 tsp
oil for shallow frying
METHOD
wash and soak soya chunks in hot water, drain it well. ( You may use soya granules also, then grind it)
Grind together, coriander leaves, green chilies, ginger, garlic without any water, along with 1/2 cup
In a bowl add the masala, soya granules, onion, garam masala, salt , lime juice, mix well, add besan and mix, so that the mixture hold together. Add some chopped mint leaves.
heat oil in a pan, make kababs, once oil is hot, fry in medium hot oil, as these are delicate,they tend to break, so carefully turn once the down is light brown, keep frying till both sides are brown and crisp. Serve hot with some mint/ coriander chutney.
