Easy and delicious soft paal cake

 INGREDIENTS and METHOD

milk pdr  1 cup

maids  1 ½ cups

baking pdr  ½ tsp

cardamom pdr  ¼ tsp

salt a pinch,

mix all well

ghee 2 tbsp

mix well till it resembles bread crumbs

warm milk ½ cup + 3-4 tbsp

add warm milk to the dry ing. little at a time

knead to a soft dough

heat oil, roll the dough like a thick roti, cut into small rectangles

fry in medium hot oil till brown, drain and keep aside

heat water 1 ½ cups add

sugar  1 ½ cups

cardamom 2 crushed, saffron little optional

let it boil well then simmer for 5-6 minutes

pour over the fried pieces, let it soak for 3-4 hours
