Instant Poha Vada With coconut chutney

 INGREDIENTS for poha vada

 
Poha - 1/2 cup- powder slightly coarse in a mixer jar
Sooji / Semolina / Rava - 1 cup
Curd - 1 cup
Boiled Potato - 1/2 cup
Chopped Green Chili - 3 pcs
Chopped Ginger - 1/2 inch
Curry Leaves
Salt - 1 tsp
Black Pepper - 1/2 tsp
Baking Soda - 1/4 tsp
Chopped Coriander Leaves
Oil for Frying

Chutney:

Fresh Coconut
Green Chili - 3
Ginger - 1/2 inch
Imli / tamarind
Salt
Asafoetida
Green Coriander Leaves
Curry Leaves
roasted Bengal Gram - 1 tbsp ( pottukadalai)
Water - 1/2 cup

season chutney
Oil - 1 tbsp
Mustard Seeds - 1 tsp
Asafoetida - 1/4 tsp
Urad Dal - 1/2 tsp
Curry Leaves


METHOD

add pdr poha, suji in a big bowl. add curd, mix well, let it rest for 5 minutes.

now add rest of the ing. for vada mentioned  above except oil, mix well, without adding water

the dough will be soft

heat oil, grease your palms lightly with oil, make vada, take a ball, roll ir round, then flatten, make a hole in the center, you can make like this and keep in the fridge covered for 3-4 days.

fry vada in medium hot oil, don't touch them till i gets little cooked, then flip over, remove once crisp and brown on both sides
