INGREDIENTS
sugar 1 cup
water 1 cup fresh curd 4-5 tsp
milk pdr 1 1/2 cups
cardamom pdr 1/2 tsp
ghee for greasing
nuts chopped for garnishing with rose petals
METHOD
in a heavy kadai, add sugar and water, keep stirring in between whip well the curd in another small bowl.
Once the sugar has completely dissolved, add the curd, mix well, keep stirring till it boils for 2 minutes.
Add milk pdr , keep stirring well, make sure no lumps are formed.
Stirring well, cook for 3-4 minutes, don't let the mixture get dry, then it won't be tasty.
Now, you'll notice that the mixture is grainy/ danedar, add cardamom pdr, mix well
Pour the mixture in a greased tin or in a plate with butter-paper greased well, garnish with nuts and rose petals, press them lightly down
It will set in less than 30 minutes, it will be a nice soft kalakhand.
