Ingredients:
- Jowar grains: 1/4 cup
- Chopped vegetables (carrots, celery, onions): 1 cup
- Garlic: 2 cloves, minced
- Vegetable broth: 3 cups
- Salt and pepper: to taste
- Olive oil: 1 tablespoon
- Fresh herbs (thyme or parsley): for garnish
Method:
- Soak the jowar grains in water for a few hours, then drain.
- Heat olive oil in a large pot and sauté the garlic and onions until soft.
- Add the chopped vegetables and sauté for a few minutes.
- Pour in the vegetable broth and bring to a boil.
- Add the soaked jowar grains, salt, and pepper.
- Lower the heat and simmer for 20-25 minutes until the jowar is cooked.
- Garnish with fresh herbs and serve hot.
