Jowar salad

 Ingredients:

  • Cooked jowar grains: 1 cup
  • Chopped cucumber: 1/2 cup
  • Chopped tomatoes: 1/2 cup
  • Chopped onions: 1/4 cup
  • Chopped bell peppers: 1/4 cup
  • Lemon juice: 1 tbsp
  • Olive oil: 1 tbsp
  • Salt and pepper: to taste
  • Fresh herbs (parsley or cilantro): for garnish

Method:

  • In a large bowl, combine the cooked jowar, cucumber, tomatoes, onions, and bell peppers.
  • Drizzle with lemon juice and olive oil.
  • Season with salt and pepper, then toss to mix well.
  • Garnish with fresh herbs, roasted and slightly crushed peanuts and serve.
