The perfect healthy snack, nutritious
appetizer or deeply flavored sauce. Enjoy it with pita bread, roasted
baguette slices, as a topping for bruschetta or as a dip for nachos.
Ingredients for dip:
Bread - 1 loaf (or any snack you'd like to dip)
Sweet potato - 1 (roasted and mashed)
Greek Yogurt - 5 oz.
Honey - 2 tbsp.
Chili powder - 1/4 tsp.
Salt - 1/2 tsp.
Garlic - 2 cloves (minced)
Method of preparing the dip:
If you're using bread slices to dip, preheat oven to 350°F.
Place
the bread on a baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes, until crisp.
Remove
from the oven and turn up the heat to 400°F.
Wrap the potato in foil and roast for 85 minutes.
Once cooled down, scrape out its flesh into a bowl, mix with the
yogurt, honey, chili powder and salt, stirring with a fork until smooth.
Serve alongside the bread.
