Ingredients
- 3 tbsp flour
- 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- 3 tbsp dark or light brown sugar
- A pinch of salt
- 4 tbsp milk
- 2 tbsp oil
- ½ tsp vanilla
- 2 tbsp chocolate chips plus more for topping
Instructions
- Mix the flour, cocoa powder, brown sugar, and salt in a medium microwavable mug.
- Pour in the milk, oil, and vanilla and mix until just combined.
- Stir in the chocolate chips. Sprinkle a few more chocolate chips on the top.
- Place the mug in the microwave and microwave for 60 seconds until it has risen and firm to the touch.
- If your brownie looks raw after one minute of cooking, continue cooking in 5-second intervals.
- I cook the brownie for 60 seconds in my microwave. But because your timing may vary, always watch your mug while it is in the microwave.
- Let the brownie cool for 3-4 minutes, and then serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream or chocolate sauce or caramel sauce.
