Preparation
In a cast iron skillet, melt 1/2 cup of unsalted butter on low heat.
Once the butter melts, remove it from
the stove. Add 1/4 cup refined sugar and 1/2 cup of brown sugar. Mix
everything well and let it cool.
Add one egg to the mixture and mix well.
Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 3/4th teaspoon
of baking powder and mix well.
Add 1 & 1/2 cups of all-purpose
flour to the mixture and mix well. Add and mix 1 cup of chocolate chips
to the mixture and spread the mixture evenly throughout the skillet.
Bake the mixture at 350 degrees F or 180
degrees C for about 20 minutes. Bring the skillet cookie to room
temperature cut and enjoy the warm cookies.
