- In a kneader, knead the flour and the salt.
Mix together the fresh yeast with the warm milk and the warm water. Add this mix to the flour and salt and knead during 1 minute. - Add the egg while kneading then cover with a kitchen towel and leave to rest 30 minutes.
- In a kneader, knead the flour and the salt.
- Add the egg yolks, the brown sugar and the soft butter gradually. Knead 5 minutes. Cover with plastic foil and leave to rest 2 hours.
- Incorporate the chocolate chips into the dough.
- Pour the dough in a buttered panettone mold and leave to rest 1 hour. Make a cross on top and brush the top with melted butter.
- Put it in the oven at 350F during 40 minutes.
- Leave to cool. Melt the chocolate and the butter then coat the top of the panettone. Sprinkle with chocolate chips.
- There you are, your panettone with chocolate is ready.
