Method :
First, we prepare the sugar syrup, in a
kadhai, add the sugar and an equal quantity of water and let it melt on
low flame.
Add the green cardamoms and keep
stirring till a uniform slightly thick sugar syrup is ready. Remove from
the flame and let it cool.
Now add the biscuits into a blending jar
and make a fine powder. Transfer it into a mixing bowl, add the maida,
and use a few spoons of milk to prepare a soft dough. Let it rest for a
few minutes.
Divide the dough into equal quantities,
and using greased palms, roll them into smooth round balls, taking care
to avoid cracks in them.
Now heat some oil or ghee in a kadhai,
and on low flame fry these gulab jamun balls until golden brown.
Once fried and cooled, add them to the sugar syrup.
Biscuit jamuns are ready to be relished.
