Strawberry Jam


Strawberries hulled, washed 1 ½ kg
Lemons 2
Sugar 6 cups
Squeeze out lemon juice. Tie the rind & pith in a piece of muslin. Put strawberries with the muslin bag in a heavy pan. Cook stirring until liquid runs from the fruit. Cook till the fruit is soft. Add sugar & simmer till it is dissolved. Boil till setting point is reached. Remove the muslin bag. Cool & pour into bottle.
