Mango Kheer/ Payasam

Ingredients

ripe mangoes  6
finely grated jaggery/ gur 3 cups or to taste
thick coconut milk  4 cups
cardamom pdr. 1 tsp
ghee  3-4 tsp
fry nuts and raisins, drain and keep aside to garnish

Add gur to water to make a syrup, but once the gur melts, strain it, to remove the dirt
peel and slice the mangoes, cook in little water till it becomes soft
add gur syrup, cook till it is thick
add ghee to the cooking mixture
add coconut milk, allow it to simmer till thick
add cardamom pdr., mix well
garnish with fried nuts and raisins and serve cold
