Pineapple in spicy gravy

Ingredients

oil  2 tbsp
onion  1 tbsp
mustard seeds  1 tsp
curry leaves few chopped
200 gm fresh pineapple chopped
water roughly 1 cup or as needed
sugar  3/4 cup
chilli pdr.  2 tsp
turmeric pdr.  1/2 tsp
coriander pdr.  1 tsp
salt to taste
sesame seeds and cardamom crushed  1 tsp
coconut grated fine  2 tbsp

Method

in a big pan, heat oil, add mustard seeds, once it crackles, add curry leaves and onion, fry well till onions are brown, add pineapple, all the spices, sugar, mix well, add water, let it simmer for 5 minutes, add sesame-cardamom pdr., coconut, simmer till it thickens
serve hot with coconut or any roti
