Bread Chakli

Ingredients

besan  1 cup
rice flour  1/2 cup
bread crumbs  1 cup
green chilli paste  1 tsp or to taste
garlic paste  1 tsp ( optional)
salt to taste ( as bread as salt, add carefully)
oil to fry
sesame seeds  2 tsp
asafoetida   1/2 tsp
ghee 1 tbsp

Method

in a big bowl, mix the flours, salt, pastes and sesame seeds well
add bread crumbs, ghee, mix well
add enough water to make a thick dough
put the mixture in a greased chakli mould
heat oil, you can make small chaklis on a sheet/ cloth, take out carefully one by one and fry till brown and crisp on both sides, drain well on kitchen paper
serve hot, it can be stored too if anything remains.

ps- in case some of you don't have chakli mould, no problem, make thick dough like for roti, then take some dough in your hand, then start rolling in circles, like for murukku, fry, but make the circle thin, or it won't be crisp, when you make the roll fat.

 Another tip- in case you want a different taste, grind some onion, red chillies, garlic, hing, add to the flours, bread crumbs, make chaklis in the same way.
