Banana- Cottage Cheese Gulab Jamun

Ingredients

banana mashed  1 big
maida/ all purpose flour roughly 1/2-1 cup or as needed
paneer/ cottage cheese crumbled with 1 tsp rose water  250 gm
roasted mawa/ khoya  4-5 tbsp
cardamom and fennel seed powdered  1 tsp
sugar syrup of 1 string consistency warm 1 1/2 cups
oil/ ghee for frying

in a bowl, add mashed banana, maida first add 1/2 cup, paneer, mix well
add mawa, cardamom and fennel pdr., mix well, if the mixture is too sticky, add little more maida till you get the correct consistency, it shouldn't be too thick like roti dough, at the same time, you'ld be able to roll it into small balls easily
make small balls of the dough, deep fry till brown in hot fat, which should be in medium temperature, then drain, put directly in sugar syrup to coat well, let it soak for 10 minutes well, then serve hot/ cold garnished with chopped nuts
