Grapes Thoku/pickle !

INGREDIENTS

sesame oil   2-3 tbsp
mustard seeds 1 tsp
chilli pdr.  2-3 tsp or as per taste
turmeric pdr.  1/4 tsp.
salt to taste
fenugreek roasted & powdered  1/2 tsp
grapes 2 cups whole, washed & drained ( seedless or with seeds, as you prefer)
asafoetida  1/4 tsp
jaggery water   2 tbsp

METHOD

In a heavy pan, heat oil, add mustard seeds, once it crackles, add asafoetida, saute for few seconds, reduce flame, add grapes, saute for 2 minutes, add rest of the spices, saute for another 2 minutes, stirring continuously. last add jaggery water, stir for another minute.
remove, cool & store inf ridge.
this will go well with curd rice, dosa, bread, roti.
