Cashew nut Burfi/squares

INGREDIENTS  

cashew nuts    1 cup 
sugar                 3 cups
cardamom powder   1/2 tsp
Ghee 2-3 tbsp

METHOD 
Soak  cashew nuts in hot water for at least 3-4 hours. 
Drain and grind them into a fine paste. 
Make a syrup of sugar and water 1 cup bring it to one-thread consistency.
Slowly add the kaju paste and cook over a low flame, gradually adding the ghee while stirring continuously.
When the mixture leaves the sides of the pan, add  cardamom powder.
Grease a plate and evenly pour the  mixture . 
Allow it to cool. 
Cut it into  squares or any other preferred shape. 
Serve cold.

ps- this doesn't take/ absorb much ghee, so add very little, keep stirring on medium/ low flame continuously.
This will be very soft only, lasts long, if cooked well & preserved carefully.
