FRENCH BREAD WITH TOPPINGS

INGREDIENTS

French bread/ or normal bread one loaf thickly sliced  
butter softened with garlic
cheese grated for topping roughly 1/2 cup

FOR TOPPING

oil 2 tbsp
onion  1 big finely chopped
green capsicum  1 finely chopped
red capsicum finely chopped   1
yellow capsicum finely chopped   1
salt to taste
chilli flakes   1 tbsp or to taste
oregano crushed 1 tsp
cooked peas  1/2 cup

METHOD

in a pan, heat oil, add onion saute till transparent, add the capsicums, salt to taste, saute till capsicums are lightly cooked, add chilli flakes, cooked peas, mix well.
add lightly crushed oregano 1/2 tsp
apply garlic butter well on bread slices, place them in a hot oven for 5 min.
then add the stuffing on each slice, add cheese, add some crushed oregano on each slice.
place them in a hot oven till cheese melts , this may be about 10 minutes at 180 deg. C.
serve it hot.
