VEGETABLE APPAM !

INGREDIENTS
broccoli/ cauliflower florets blanch in microwave by just sprinkling little water for 2-3 minutes
carrot finely grated  1/2 cup
spring onion finely chopped 2-3 tbsp
green chili finely chopped 1 tsp or to taste or you can use chili pdr. to taste
salt to taste
oregano 1/2 tsp
bread crumbs  1/2 cup or more as needed
cheese grated 3-4 tbsp
nuts powdered coarsely 1 tbsp ( any nuts ) optional
oil wee bit for frying in non-stick appa karai or poaching vessel

for dip
hung curd  1/2 cup
ketchup  2 tbsp
chili flakes as desired
salt little
or you can use mayonnaise with hung curd or with ketchup

for appam
add the blanched broccoli or florets of cauliflower carrot, spring onion, along with spices in a bowl, mash well, add cheese, nuts and enough bread crumbs, so it is dry enough to roll into small balls to fit your appa karai or poaching vessel. coat with bread crumbs and fry,don't fret if you don't have one, you can flatten it like cutlet and shallow fry in a pan using wee bit oil, till golden on both sides. serve with dip
