HEALTHY BEETROOT-CARROT-MULTIMILLET FLOUR HALWA OR PUDDING IN MICROWAVE

INGREDIENTS

BEETROOT 2 MEDIUM SIZE
CARROT 2 BIG
MULTI-MILLET FLOUR 1 CUP
GHEE/ CLARIFIED BUTTER  1 1/2 TBSP
LOW_FAT MILK 500 ML ( you may use even full fat if you like)
NUTS FOR GARNISHING
GRATED GUR/ BROWN SUGAR 1 CUP OR TO TASTE

METHOD
PEEL BEETROOT, WASH AND CUT BEET AND CARROT TO SMALL PIECES.
IN A MIXER, GRIND BEET AND CARROT TO A SMOOTH PASTE USING LITTLE MILK
IN A PAN HEAT GHEE, ADD MILLET FLOUR, FRY TILL A NICE AROMA COMES
ADD THE GROUND PASTE AND REST OF THE MILK, MIX WELL, SEEING THAT NO LUMPS ARE THERE
COOK STIRRING  ON GAS ON A HEAVY PAN OR NON-STICK PAN ON LOW FLAME
I COOKED IN MICROWAVE, AS I CAN'T KEEP ON STIRRING DUE TO PROBLEM IN MY WRIST, SO I KEPT FOR 3, 3 MINUTES, STIRRING AFTER EVERY 3 MINUTE, SO I'LD HAVE KEPT FOR ROUGHLY 9 MINUTES, THEN ADD GUR, MIXED WELL, THEN AGAIN KEPT FOR 3 MINUTES, STIRRING AFTER EVERY 3 MINUTE ON MICRO HIGH FOR ABOUT 15 MINUTES, TILL IT HAD THICKENED.
I DIDN'T HAVE TO ADD CARDAMOM POWDER, AS MY MULTI-MILLET POWDER CONTAINED THE SAME, OR ELSE ADD CARDAMOM POWDER 1 TSP, YOU CAN ADD SOME NUTS WHILE COOKING ALSO AND SPRINKLE FEW ON TOP TO SERVE.

THIS HEALTHY HALWA/ PUDDING, I GAVE TO FEW OF MY FRIENDS HERE AND HUBBY ALSO LIKED IT VERY MUCH, ONE THING IT IS VERY HEALTHY, WITH LOTS OF FIBRE, VITAMINS, PROTEINS, FAT TOO IN SMALL AMOUNT, AS WE DO NEED FAT IN OUR DIET TO ABSORB THE FAT SOLUBLE VITAMINS.
