CRUMB CAKE

INGREDIENTS
  • all purpose flour   4½ cups
  • sugar   2¼ cups 
  • brown sugar  1 cup 
  • salt   1 tsp
  • cinnamon pdr.  1 tsp
  • spice pdr.  1/2 tsp
  • butter softened   4 sticks
  • vanilla essence   1 1/2 tsp
  • eggs   3
  • baking soda   1/2 tsp
  • yoghurt  1 cup


Method

Preheat oven to 350 deg. F. Spray a big pan with cooking spray and set aside. 
For the Topping: In a large bowl combine 2 cups flour, ¼ cup sugar, brown sugar, ½ teaspoon salt, cinnamon, spice pdr. and whisk to combine. 
Cut in 2 sticks butter until mixture is crumbly. 
In another bowl, cream remaining butter with remaining sugar. Beat until fluffy. 
Beat in eggs, vanilla, baking soda, and remaining salt. 
Add flour and mix until just combine. Mix in yogurt. 
Spread in prepared pan. Crumble topping over batter.
Bake 35 minutes-40 minutes or until an inserted knife comes out clean. 
Serve warm.
