MASALA( lotus seeds) MUSHROOM

INGREDIENTS

 roasted makhana  1/2 cup
mushrooms  8-9
jeera  1 tsp
onion  1 cup finely chopped
chilli pdr.  1/2- 1 tsp
chilli-ginger paste  1 tsp
turmeric pdr.  1/4 tsp
curd   4 tbsp
oil  2 tbsp
salt to taste

METHOD
in little oil, fry makhanas till light brown, soak in water to soften
in a pan boil some water, then add mushrooms whole, cover the pan and keep aside
in the same pan in which makhana was roasted, add oil, jeera, once it crackles, add onion, fry well, add the masala powders, fry well, add 1/4 cup water, for it to cook well, add curd, then drain the mushrooms, makhanas add along with salt to the pan, mix well, cover and cook for 10 minutes
serve hot with roti/ rice after garnishing with finely chopped coriander leaves.
