COFFEE FLAN

INGREDIENTS

sugar  1/2 cup
eggs  2
cinnamon pdr.  1 tsp
milk  1 cup
coffee pdr.  4-5 tsp
water little
condensed milk  1 cup + 1 tbsp

METHOD
in a pan, add sugar, keep on medium flame keep stirring time to time till it caramelizes, remove.
in a bowl break eggs, beat well, add cinnamon pdr., milk beat well
in a small bowl, mix coffee pdr. with little hot water, mix well, add 1 tbsp condensed milk, mix well ( reserve little mixture to top on the moulds)
add coffee to egg mixture, mix well, add condensed milk, beat well
in small moulds, put enough caramel to cover the bottom of the mould
pour the coffee mixture, put 1 drop of coffee mixture, give a slight swirl
put the moulds in a baking tray, add enough water to cover the bottom of the tray
bake in pre-heated oven at 180 deg. C for roughly 15 minutes or till the mixture has set well
to serve, cut an apple into thin long slice, put little thick cream, 3 slices of apple in each mould, serve hot.
