DAL VADA


INGREDIENTS

tuvar dal  1 cup washed and soaked
chana dal  1/2 cup, washed and soaked
red chillies 2
green chillies 2
curry leaves few
hing  1/4 tsp
salt to taste
turmeric pdr.  1/4 tsp
spring onion finely chopped   1/4 cup
cooking soda a pinch
oil for frying
coriander leaves   2 tbsp

METHOD
grind the dals with chillies & curry leaves, adding very minimum water to a coarse paste
add salt, spring onion, coriander leaves, hing, turmeric, soda, mix well
heat oil, make small vadas, fry till crisp on both sides, drain
serve hot with chutney of your choice.
