Semolina cake
Semolina 1 cup
curds 1 cup
sugar 3/4-1cup
milk 1 cup
butter 2 tbsp
curds 1 cup
sugar 3/4-1cup
milk 1 cup
butter 2 tbsp
Baking pdr 1 tsp
cardamom pdr ½ tsp
nuts & raisins
cardamom pdr ½ tsp
nuts & raisins
Method
1) beat butter, sugar & curd well.
2) Add milk & semolina, mixing well.
3) Set aside for 45 minutes.
4) Pre-heat the oven, add baking pdr to the mixture, mix well, add the nuts & raisins.
5) If you feel the mixture is too thick, as it should be the consistency of idli batter, if not add little more milk or mixture of milk & curd to get the correct consistency.
7) This can be baked in a microwave in about 7-8 minutes in high power.
Ps- you may decorate the top with some strawberries or any seasonal fruit.
PL. REMEMBER BAKING TIME VARIES FROM OVEN TO OVEN ALSO DEPENDS ON THE SIZE. SO ALWAYS KEEP AN EYE ESP. AFTER 20 MINUTES WHEN YOU BAKE ANYTHING, AS ONCE A CAKE IS BAKED, YOU KNOW IT GIVES OUT A NICE AROMA ! so that will help you to judge too. HAPPY BAKING.
