Orange cream biscuits



Orange cream biscuits

Refined flr 1 cup                                         corn flr ½ cup
Icing sugar 3 tbsp                                        butter 100 gm
Orange essence few drops                          milk to mix

For filling
Icing sugar 1 ½ cups                                   butter 1 tbsp
Grated rind & juice of ½ orange.

Method
1)      sift the flr & sugar, rub in butter & essence.
2)      Bind to a stiff dough with milk.
3)      Roll into marble sized balls.
4)      Place on a greased tray & flatten slightly with a fork in criss-cross fashion.
5)      Bake in a medium hot oven for 15 minutes.
6)      Blend the filing ingredients over low flame stirring until well mixed & smooth. Cool.
7)      Spread the filing on the smooth side of the biscuit & cover with the other biscuit sandwiching them.
