Jack fruit seed halwa

Seeds 50     moong dal ¼ kg       milk ½ l.      sugar 1 kg          cardamom pdr ½ tsp       ghee 100 gm

Method
1)      peel the outer covering of the seeds, pressure cook them, cool & grind them.
2)      Cook the dal with just enough water & mash well.
3)      In a heavy bottomed vessel, put the ground dal, seeds, sugar & milk & keep stirring till it thickens.
4)       Adding ghee till it leaves the sides of the pan little at a time.
5)      Remove, add cardamom pdr. Mix well, spread on a greased plate, cool & cut & serve garnishing with some nuts on top.
