SEV AND DRY FRUIT CHIWDA/ MIXTURE



INGREDIENTS
FOR SEV
Either one can use bajra flour 2 cups to make it healthy  OR
Besan 1 ½ cups and rice flour ½ cup
Salt and pepper pdr/ chili pdr. to taste
Hing ¼ tsp
oil for frying
For chiwda
Raisins 2 tbsp
Cashew nuts  2 tbsp
Almonds 2 tbsp
Peanuts 3 tbsp
Dry coconut/ copra cut into long thin pieces 2 tbsp

METHOD
If using bajra flour, use warm water to make a soft sticky dough, add 2 tsp hot oil, mix well and make sev , fry  till crisp and remove, it hardly takes 2 minutes, drain well, crush them lightly and keep aside
In the same oil, fry separately, all the dry fruits, drain well, add to the crushed sev, add some salt, chili pdr, roasted curry leaves crushed, 1 tsp sugar, mix well when warm. Once cool, store in a container.
