Masala vada


INGREDIENTS

urad dal  200 gm
cumin seeds   1 tsp
green chillies finely chopped 2-3/ as per taste
ginger finely chopped  1 tsp
curry leaves few
onion 1 big finely chopped
finely chopped boiled vegetables ( beans, cauliflower, carrots, peas etc)  100 gm
hing  1/8 tsp
chilli pdr.  1/2 tsp
oil for cooking
salt to taste

METHOD
wash and soak dal in just enough warm water for 2 hours
then grind to a smooth paste
mix rest of the ingredients with the ground dal paste
shape into vadas, fry in hot oil till golden brown and crisp on both sides
drain well, serve hot with chutney of your choice.
