KULKULS


ingredients

maida   2  cups
rice flour  2 tbsp
butter   2 tbsp
salt a pinch
oil for frying
sugar 2 cups
water   1 cups

Method

in a mixing bowl, put both the flours, salt, butter, mix well till it resembles bread crumbs
add enough cold water to make a soft pliable dough.
keep covered in a cool place
take small marble size balls of the dough, press on the fork, then roll it to get curls
deep fry the kulkuls till light brown and crisp
in the mean time, make 1 string sugar syrup, dip the fried kulkuls in the syrup for 2-3 minutes, then drain well, spread on a plate.
repeat the process till all the kulkuls are made.
