APPLE BREAD PUDDING

INGREDIENTS

bread slices  6
pouring consistency custard   1  1/2 cups
butter  1 tbsp
apple 1 diced
orange juice   1/2 cup
brown sugar   3 tbsp
cinnamon pdr. 1/4 tsp
walnuts chopped   1/4 cup
butter few lumps

METHOD

remove crust from bread slices, break into small pieces
take a baking tray, grease it
spread the bread pieces, pour custard evenly over the bread pieces
allow to soak, do not mix.
melt butter, add orange juice, brown sugar
once sugar melts, add apple, quickly cook apple until half the juice evaporates
pour the mixture over the bread pieces, sprinkle cinnamon pdr, walnut pieces
place lumps of butter evenly
heat oven to 175 deg. C, bake pudding for 15-30 minutes
serve hot/ cold.
