CHINESE SAMOSAS

INGREDIENTS

for covering
maida/ all purpose flour   2 cups
fine semolina/ suji   2 tbsp
salt little
spinach puree  2-3 tbsp

for stuffing
cooked noodles   1 cup
cabbage  1/4 cup
onion   1/4 cup
tomatoes 1/4 cup
capsicum  1/4 cup
soya sauce  1 tsp
tomato sauce  2 tsp
chilli sauce  1/2- 1 tsp
green onion chopped  1/4 cup
chillies finely chopped  1 tsp
garlic finely chopped  1/2 tsp or green garlic can be used
salt little as sauces have salt
sugar  1 tsp
oil as needed

METHOD

make dough with the ingredients, if need be add wee bit of water to make a soft pliable dough
in a pan, heat 1 1/2 tbsp of oil, add onion, other vegetables, fry well, add sauces, noodles, salt, sugar,fry well for another 3 minutes on low flame, keep aside to cool
take small lemon size dough, roll into a 4-5 " rounds, cut into half
apply cornflour paste around the edges, fold into a cone, put enough stuffing, seal well from all sides, repeat the process with the rest of the dough
heat oil, deep fry the samosas till crisp on medium flame
serve hot with tomato ketchup
