Healthy Ragi idlis



Healthy Ragi idlis

ingredients
soak urad dal 1 cup  3-4 hours
grind to a smooth paste, add 2 tbsp ragi pdr., salt, allow to ferment over-night
mix well, steam for 15- 20 minutes

serve it hot with chutney/ sambar/ milgaipodi.

Don't get alarmed by its drake colour, due to ragi powder. This is rich in protein from the dal, iron and calcium from ragi. As it is fermented, Vitamin B complex increases, makes it also easy to digest. So,  a very healthy option of idlis.
