Mango rasgulla



Ingredients
paneer/ cottage cheese  2 cups
maida / all purpose flour 1 cup
sugar  1 cup
milk  1/2 cup
fresh mango pulp  1 cup
mango essence  1/2 tsp ( optional)
cardamom pdr.  1/2 tsp
pistas few chopped

Method

knead paneer, maida, mango pulp together well.
Divide the dough into equal portions.
place a piece of pista into each portion and roll it into small ball.
heat 2 cups of water in a thick/ heavy pan and add sugar and cardamom pdr.
stir and boil too sugar dissolves into syrup
place the prepared ball into the boiling syrup one by one
simmer for 2-3 minutes
move the balls to the centre of the pan carefully with a spoon
close the pan with a lid and leave it to boil for another 10 minutes on a low flame.
check at short intervals of the balls if the balls have increased in size and have become soft.
once done, add mango essence and remove from flame.
allow to cool and serve.
