POTATO STUFFED SANDWICH

INGREDIENTS  
for stuffing
boiled potatoes mashed 1 big cup
cheese grated  1 1/2 tbsp
paneer grated  1 1/2 tbsp
chili pdr. to taste
turmeric pdr.  1/4 tsp
garam masala  1 tsp
coriander leaves finely chopped 2 tbsp
pudina/ mint finely chopped 2 tsp
salt to taste
For batter
besan  100 gm
salt to taste
chili pdr. 1 tsp or to taste
hing little
baking soda  1/2 tsp

water to make thick batter
potato slices cut into 1/2 cm rounds to spread stuffing as needed

oil for frying

METHOD
cut potato slices into rounds of same size and put in water, later strain before using
mix all the ingredients of stuffing, make small balls of stuffing flatten out to the size of the potato slices and keep aside.
make batter with besan, salt, chili pdr., hing, b. soda, put 2 tsp of hot oil.
drain potato slices well, keep filling between 2 slices, dip in batter, fry in hot oil till brown on both sides, drain well, serve hot with chutney or ketchup of your choice.
