Masala Capsicum

Ingredients

capsicum chopped  3/4 cup
boiled mashed potato  1/4 cup
curd  1/4 cup
milk 1 tsp
turmeric pdr.  1/4 tsp
chilli pdr.  1/2 tsp or to taste
garam masala pdr.  1/2 tsp
gram flour   2 tsp
cumin/ jeera  1 tsp
garlic  2 cloves crushed
asafoetida/ hing a pinch
salt to taste
oil as needed

METHOD

combine the potatoes, milk, curd, turmeric pdr., chilli pdr., garam masala pdr., gram flour, salt & 1/2 cup of water in a dish to form a smooth mixture. keep aside.
heat oil in a pan, add cumin, once it crackles, add garlic, hing, fry for a minute, add chopped capsicum & cook over low flame for a few minutes till it is soft.
add the prepared mixture & cook covered over a low flame for roughly 10 minutes, stirring in between. serve hot garnishing with finely chopped coriander leaves.
